The impact of our approach to English is measured through learning walks, book monitoring, and ongoing assessment, both formative and summative. Senior leaders, subject leaders and class teachers regularly evaluate the impact and assess our children’s learning. Through this, we see that most of our children meet or exceed age-related expectations, and early interventions ensure that every child makes good progress from their individual starting points.
