Teachers assess the children in their classes at the end of each term on our school assessment system, ‘OTrack’.  This records both attainment and progress at the individual child level.  Assessments are used to inform next steps of learning, including closing any identified gaps in skills and knowledge.

At the end of Key Stage 1, the vast majority of our children are achieving age-related-expectations in Science.  This ensures that they are able to move into Key Stage 2 equipped with the basic foundations which they can build upon at their junior school.
