We had a wonderful VE Day 80 at Ashcroft! We all came to school dressed in red, white and blue and learnt all about why VE Day was important. We had an assembly and showed off our VE Day creations from our morning of activities. Key Stage One sang a song all about a street party and the Reception children showed off their marching skills.

A VE Day celebration would not be complete without a little 'We’ll Meet Again,' which we all enjoyed singing together. Finally, we finished with a 1940’s dance - we had all the moves. It was a wonderful way to celebrate together.
